In this lesson we will look at our first symbols in Morse code which are extremely easy. These symbols consist of either dots or dashes only. In more detail, what you must remember is the series of letters E I S H and T M O.
E I S H take dots and T M O take dashes.

How to find the symbols: We start with a dot for EISH and with a dash for TMO. As we move according to the order of the letters we add one more symbol at a time. So E is one dot, I is two dots, S is three dots e.t.c. Look the following picture ....
